QuickBooks Pro & Premier users will find this course and excellent place for initial training. The class will cover the basics of Pro and Premier editions. If you own a newer or older version of QuickBooks, there will be slight differences in navigation but the concepts and transaction entry remain the same. QuickBooks Course Description
This course is an introduction on how to use QuickBooks to best meet the needs of your business. The main objective is to introduce you to QuickBooks’s basic features and give you an opportunity for hands-on practice. You will learn about the types of information you need to track in your business, and how to enter that information and track it in QuickBooks. By the end of the day, you will have a good idea of how an accounting software package can save time and help organize business finances. When you are ready to use QuickBooks, you will be familiar with the most common tasks and will know where to find information about more advanced features.
QuickBooks Seminar Objective: You will examine how to use QuickBooks to best meet the needs of your business, by being introduced to its basic features.
Target QuickBooks User: This course is designed for a person with no prior knowledge of how to use QuickBooks or someone familiar with the software who wants to learn new features and functionality of this version.
Class Prerequisites: You can successfully complete this training guide without any prior software knowledge or computer experience. A basic understanding of the computer operating system you are using is recommended.

Will I learn what I need to know if I have a different QuickBooks version?
We are confident that you will find these classes useful if you are using QuickBooks 2005 or later edition. Below is a brief description of the differences between versions and if you still have questions, please call us at 800-216-0763.
QuickBooks Premier and Pro Users may attend this class, the interface and navigation is identical in both versions. In fact you will hard pressed to notice any difference. QuickBooks Premier has the following features which will not be covered in this class:
Tracks sales orders, inventory components and finished goods or "assemblies".
Create forecasts and business plans and budgets in QuickBooks
Customize prices - up to 100 different prices levels per item by percent.

QuickBooks 2005 users may attend this QuickBooks seminar and gain a better understanding of how QuickBooks 2005 works. Version 2006 did change the navigation screens (the icons for clicking to get to a transaction type or customer/vendor information) but the data entry screens are primarily the same. If you come to this class using QuickBooks 2005 click here to print a list of menu selections from your version for easy cross reference.
QuickBooks 2007, 2008, 2009 users may attend this QuickBooks class and gain a better understanding of how QuickBooks 2007 works. Version 2007 has the same navigation and underlying data entry screens as Version 2006. QuickBooks 2007 has changed payroll processing data entry. But Payroll processing is not part of this course.
